Will you watch the Pirate adventure at Treasure Island for me? I always have to do that when I'm there. God what a great place.

My Fourth of July plans consist of blowing shit up and hoping my grandfather gets better (he's in the hospital with pneumonia). I have a four day weekend, so there will also be a lot of sleeping going on.

We are going to the City for the weekend and by City I mean San Francisco!

We are staying two nights at the Sheraton on the wharf and for the night of the 4th we are going on a bay dinner cruise and watching the fireworks from the bay!!!

Should be once in a lifetime!

Also hoping to clean the house some time in there - but at least it's a three day weekend!

mid... i will TRY to get to the pirate show at treasure island. apparently they have turned it into a mini-musical complete with slutty looking girl pirates. lovely. (please detect the sarcasm.) not that i have anything against musicals, just slutty girl pirates.

Hmm, I think I have my cousin's HS graduation party to attend on Saturday...doing something with Coll on Friday night, but we don't know what yet...seeing my Christopher probably Saturday night and into Sunday (but don't get any ideas!)...hanging with another friend, but not sure when since she suggested we hang out over the 4th but was like, "I have all these parties to go to," and she didn't make firm plans with me (Can you tell I'm a little ticked?)...LOL

I did come to Pittsburgh for the 4th (am still here actually) and it was at least 90 degrees and humid the whole weekend. WB and I were two of about a million people on Mt. Washington fighting to get a good view of the fireworks last night. I couldn't see well at all because I'm short, so he carried me on his back for a half hour so I could see over everybody's heads. I'm not a big girl, but I nearly killed him :D

Still, since he did that for me, I can forgive him the constant snarking about my driving. ;)

Since the 4th fell on a Sunday, the 5th. Unless some companies gave Friday off instead but most I know of gave the 5th off.
