dazed: do you guys take the tradition view "let the guy initiate" or do you take the progressive view "it's the 00s! let's go for it girls!"

I've done both. Personally, I prefer for the guy to initiate.

awesome!! i guess i didn't realize this could be its own thread.

anyway, my views...i think the guy should initiate. in some things are quite progressive but in dating, for the most part, i'm traditional. the guy should initiate. without being forceful of course. there's a fine line there. i know it sucks for the guy cuz he doesn't really know the girl so well and isn't sure if she wants to initiate or not. sucks for guys!

I vote for the guys...however sometimes a woman just has to take things in her one hands...;)

99% of the time I will wait on the guy to initiate, not because I'm especially traditional, but because I'm super sensitive and will wait it out rather than initiate and run the risk of getting rebuffed or burned.
