Hi everyone,
This might make you feel better. I've heard from many people, including a friend who was in a rather high level position at a renown broadcasting company that many companies put out mock ads to give the appearance that they are in great financial shape when they are not. Another reason is that sometimes they are just looking to see who would apply when they get back on their feet. I've stopped applying to places where I see the ad for more than 6 months. With 200+ applicants/ad, there is no logic to that and I won't waste my time or money (time=$$, IMHO)!
So quit thinking it's you and do ANYTHING to make ends meet, if that's your situation. Dept will haunt you forever, but the economy is temporary.
