Anyone know why my Adobe keeps shutting my PC down??

I'm trying to download a pdf file and it's driving me nuts!!!

Try updating your version of Adobe, you should be able to download it for free off the web site. I often have trouble with Adobe too, on my home computer, even with the DSL connection, the computer is older and just can't handle it sometimes!

I downloaded it just a few months ago. I think I'll try erasing the program then DL'ing again. Hopefully that will work!!

I think the free download from the website is read-only. Didn't know if that was ok or not.

I think I had a similar issue on my computer at work. Do you have just reader installed or writer? (or both?)

I had both Writer 4.0 installed and Reader 6.0 installed. The two did not jive together, needed to be uninstalled, and only Reader installed back on the machine.
