we kinda use the forum as a chatroom.

Hi there!
It's just more convienient to use the forum.
I think a lot of us have different times we can post something. There are also others say in Australia and the UK who probably want to talk but the rest of us are working or not awake.
I also think it's easier for just anybody to respond to a post on a specific thread discussion.

yeah i think the forums are easier to. and krazy kat made a good point about having to go back and figure out what you really meant. is there a way for us to edit posts after we've posted them? i get so annoyed when i spell something wrong and can't go fix it. or if my sentences don't make sense.

Krazy and Tranquil, there's an "edit" button below each post on the lower righthand side. Click on that and it lets you reenter what you've written.
