scared to death

I am VERY single. I have never dated and I am scared to death. I don't know where to meet guys and I'm very shy. How can I get help?

I think I am about the same position as you are. I have dated, but never in the real world and to make matters worst, I am still getting over a very destructive relationship. but life does go on. Meeting people is always hard and sometimes very intimidating. right now I am trying to meet people in the town my job took me too. I can't hang out with the people I work with (different interest and never liked mixing business with pleasure) what I plan on doing is joining activities that I would want my prospective partner to be interested in, health club, theater groups, music groups, everything that I would want my special lady to do. eventually I will and so will you run in to a situation where you will talk to a person and things will continue on from that. just remember that things happen when they are not force, just live your life as best you can and surround yourself with people you are comfortable with.
