Password Issues

I had learned from my PC coarse about how easy it is to break simple passwords. So I had decided to edit mine to be a bit more complex in here. However, it wouldn't take my changes, and at the same time wouldn't accept my old password either. So I went through the steps to have it reset, and had the same problem. I picked one that was too long or complicated and the old password wouldn't work either. So I had it reset a 3rd time and changed it to a simple password I used in the beginning. It worked. What I'm suggesting is that when you are editting your password that the rules of the password length, what characters, numerals, etc. can or cannot be used be on the screen. I wasn't sure if my password was too long, or if numbers or symbols weren't accepted.

Something like "Password must be 5-9 characters long, no symbols or spaces, numerals are okay" on the edit password page would be helpful. Thanks!
