If you live in Connecticut or NYC or anywhere near here, you may have heard of an artist named John Mayer. He has the perfect song that talks about what we are experiencing (to some degree).

Basically...the chorus go something like...

"Am I Living It Right?"

And then another line states...

“It might be a quarter life crisis, or just the stirring in my soul.”

Then he goes on to say...

"Everybody is just a stranger but that's the danger in going my own way."

The song is “Why Georgia”, track #2 on his latest album.

There's much more to the song but I can only write so much. So if you related AT ALL to the book you will dig this song. The rest of the CD is great too. It's become my staple that I blare when I'm cooking or in the shower or just feeling like a twentysomething (which is all the time).

Hi. Whats the name of the record? Do all the songs deal with the same theme? Is it rock music with alot of piano and guitar. I love finding new songwriters. Ill pick it up. If you want to hear an amazing record that deals with the pain and struggle of being in your 20's pick up a record called 'Let it Be', by The Replacements. The guy who sings and writes all the songs is Paul Westerberg, maybe you heard of him b/c he did the singles soundtrack. Anyway he is an amazing songwriter.

Yeah, John Mayer rocks! He lived here in Atlanta for a few years and played just about every small venue in the Southeast. I can totally see him being the voice of our generation. I completely identify with most of his songs. PS.. Go on Gnuttella and download his acoustic stuff. Just him and a guitar. It's much better.
