Ok I'm getting extremely frustrated and feeling soo incredibly lost that I want to scream/cry. I just got off the phone with my mom and she said "your father the other day says he actually is starting to feel really sorry for you because you have no clue what you want to do and you are...floundering." ARGH WTF. He thinks I shouldn't change jobs so quickly but then I'm "floundering?" With parental pressure I begin to forget what I WANT and I start feeling like a crazy person. I thought I would first get my CPA but oh god no, id rather shoot myself if i stayed in accounting, then i'm thinking marketing, then law....ah i don't even know anymore!

Anyone as confused as i am? I almost feel like i should run away and figure out again what it is that I ENJOY.

I would suggest reading "What Color is Your Parachute?" It really helps with figuring out what type of field/work you are really interested in. It also gives tips for long-term job search or short-term job search. Sounds like you are thinking more long-term.
I'm sorry that you're parents are pressuring you, but you are definitely not the only one who is having a hard time figuring out what to do. A lot of college grads are stuck working retail (not that thats bad) and never figure out what to do, so at least you have the motivation to figure out what it is that you find interesting.

I think that we all "flounder" at some point in our lives. Take comfort in the fact that it can only get better from here.

Can you run away? Maybe you need a little time and distance away from your parents. Often times well meaning parents can borderline on pushy and overbearing.

um, if you are using your degree and having an office job (even if you DON'T like it) in a respectable and in-demand function like accounting - esp in this economy and when you are fresh out of college - how are you "floundering"?

the average person stays in their first job out of college 9 months. just make sure you stay at your next place at least a year.
