I'm from Madison and have been living in the east coast for about 2 years. I'm going home to visit friends soon and it will seem like arriving on another planet. I don't know how long I'll stay out here.

Yeah I have visited cali, and compared to Wisconsin, it IS another planet!! Life is so wild that way, but then again Wisconsin is its own little planet isnt it??

Its good to hear that there ARE people who are at least from (if not living) here who are on here.

I live in Milwaukee. I am losing my mind currently trying to find a part time job and work around possibly going back to school. My life is a mess right now, so you are not alone in the area if that is what you are wondering.

I'm not wondering if I am alone, I am wondering if anyone is posting here from WI, and I would LOVE to set up a support group, but no one ever says anything back from WI. I think it would be great for all of us to get together, but I dont know if people just dont know about the site or if they just dont feel they need support.

I don't know if you are still looking for people in the Milwaukee area to start a support group, but I live in Waukesha, and I think a support group is a great idea. We can exchange e-mail addresses if your are interested! :cool:

I would LOVE to do a Milwaukee group, if people would like to, I just hear it on the board but no one goes any further with it, you can IM me if your interested in doing a group! And if you know anyone who would like to meet as well, and gee what a great way to get to know others as well!

Hey those of you who were going to think about going on Sunday, I am sorry....I had a family issue come up for the weekend so I can no longer make it!! actually it never got off its feet....we were suppose to meet, i know i showed up but didnt find anyone and someone else showed up but left before i got there. dont know about the other people. if you want to send me a private message we can talk about getting together or something, maybe restarting it or just us meeting, i want to meet others too besides my core group of friends.

Okay it sounds like there is a renewed interest in starting a Milwaukee Support Group, so who is going to take the initiative to plan it?? I was one of the people on the initial group plans, but I am super busy now and dont have the time to help out....but somoenes gotta do it!! Let me know if anyone needs help with planning ;)

Is there any sort of interest in getting a group together in the Milwaukee area??? Heck, Im a Licensed Professional Counselor (with issues)I could put my training to use!! But of course there needs to be members to have a group!!
