e-mail notifications

I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but all of a sudden in the past few days, I have started getting e-mails every time someone posts a reply to something I have written or when I get a private message.

I went into the options page and noticed that the 'yes' box was clicked for both of these notifications. At first, I only checked 'no' for the thread reply option. However, I have still been getting these notices, so just now I went in and unclicked both to see if that helped.

Does anyone know what the deal is with this? Am I missing something? And why did it start now, considering the fact that I joined in like September?

me too! i also clicked no and they still wont go away either. whats the deal?? i am getting like 50 emails a day from these boards!

Ok, and now, since the change I made last night, when I go into my user profile, it says there have been no new postings to any of my subscribed threads! I didn't want not see what was new - I just don't want to get e-mails about it. :confused:

Yes, I would like to be able to click on user profile and see the threads with new postings without having the email option enabled. I have it enabled now for that reason and delete the emails out of my inbox.

I have no possible sollutions but I am having the same problem. I just go in to the profile each day and delete all the threads it says I am subscribed to.
