Is anyone from this QLC board from the Northern CA area. I would love to start a support group, the only ones in CA I am seeing are SoCAL. I am from San Jose, so I am up there fairly often. I'm actually going to be there from the 23rd till the 27th, and maybe the weekend of the 8th.

I'm in Berkeley. Other than searching for work for months (keeping my fingers crossed for this month) things are fine. Well, maybe a little too much rain but that's to be expected this time of year.

Yo, I'm here in SJ - 23, working, we should get folks together. I have a bunch of friends that regularly do a bar night on Wednesdays, let me know if you're interested. We often hit up the Branham Lounge, I think we'll do Beefies in Sunnyvale (Grape & El Camino) this week.

I'd also be down to meet folks for coffee, chatting, whatever. SJ is full of young people but we're one of the most disconnected big cities in the world, I think.

yeah, there are more SJ folks. i still think for a million-plus urban area, this is one of the most disconnected cities in the country - damn the suburbs and expressways!

but to revise my event listing, friends and i will be headed to the britannia arms in cupertino (i think on saratoga-sunnvale/de anza but look it up) this wednesday night, probably around 10:30. PM before then to get a cell number to meet up, or just go around the bar looking for a 5'5" guy named nick.

friends and i are also starting a regular bowling night on monday nights at the cambrian lanes at camden and union in SJ, after 9pm when the games are $2 (shoe rental $3). yeah, and we pretty much suck. i bowled two games tonight over 90 and thought i was doing well. same deal about PMing me to get involved or just look for me, but there are a lot more people in the bowling alley.
