Ah, we're a different breed. :D

But, I don't know how you guys can deal with Christmases that are in the 80s. I don't think I've ever seen a palm tree either.

It's supposed to be sunny on Wednesday.
Here's hoping.

The majority of my Christmases have involved palm trees and 80 degree weather. Having a White Christmas isn't the norm for many people all over the world.

It's not that often that we have white Christmases even where I am, anymore. But the snow-dump always comes eventually. It's just gotten consistently later and later over the years. This year, the snow held off until last week.

Oh it's not the norm here either. I can only remember it snowing on Christmas maybe two or three times. We get plenty of rainy christmases though. :D

I'm sure that puts some people right over the edge during the holidays.

Hmm... nine days of rain doesn't seem all that bad compared to the nine months of it we have every year. Believe it or not, there are actually people who enjoy this type of weather - I just don't happen to be one of them - give me 80's and palm trees any day!

You know, if I moved to some place like LA, where it wasn't rainy and cold all the time, I'm not sure what I would do. It would feel like there was something wrong with the global climate. Like the apocolypse was finally here. ;)

Yeah, it would be quite an adjustment. You get so accustomed to the dark, dreary weather that it would be hard to get used to *gasp* sunshine!

It's never going to stop snowing here. I work at a school and this is our third snow day since we returned from break on Jan 3rd.

I hear on Thursday we're going to have a high of 51 and then drop to 20. By Saturday the low will be -2.

I hate Michigan...

it took me 2 hours to drive 3.5 miles home from work yesterday. INSANITY! this morning... an hour and 15 minutes.

on the bright side, literally, the sun is shining! :)

The sun is shining now. A lot of people can't make it to work though because 101 is closed and some of my co-workers live in Ventura.
I feel really bad for the people that live in La Conchita with that huge mudslide. One of the guys that died is my CEO's friend.
