Fast food employees

I don't know about where y'all live but here in NY they are totally annoying. Case in point, I have to go to Dunkin'Donuts in the morning as my morning ritual for bagel and hot tea. I have started going to one really close to my house cuz it saves me time vs. driving to my favorite one that is way out of the way from work. Every time I go in there the employees stand around, don't come over and take customers orders and then it takes them like 5 minutes to make my order. Yesterday I got really snotty with them and told them that they could move faster if they stopped talking so much with each other. Very annoying!!! Share your fast-food vent stories here!!!!

They're pretty much brain-dead out by me too.
But whats worse are the people in my cafeteria at work. I get the same thing every day, yet I still haven't paid the same amount twice in the 2+years Ive been here. Somedays I get charged for cheese others for lettuce, sometimes for nothing. One day I got charged extra for having extra plates since I was grabbing a soda and some disposable plates since we ordered pizza. I couldn't believe it. It would be different if the food was remotely good but it's awful, I mean worse than anything I've ever had. Try getting an omlet and have all the vegtables and mushrooms fall out of the thing, so he just decides to keep cooking it so you get a plain omlet, and some vegtables on the side.

Careful, whether they deserve it or not nagging a fast food worker is liable to make them include some extra "ingredients" next time you roll through. My favorite is when you they hand you the food in the drive through and something is wrong with the order so you call it out. They look at you like YOU did something wrong and throw a little fit as they grab/remake the part of the screwed up order. Give me my biggie iced tea, biotch!

The dunkin donuts was redone recently be me. It used to be great...but since then they expanded and hired more employees. They never get your order right...spill burning hot coffee on you and over charge.

Its not that these people working at fast food places are morons, its basically from what I have seen, its a lack of motivation. My friends brother is a manager of a fast food place, outside of work, hes happy and out going, but once he's thru those front doors, the motivation and passion for life is killed off instantly.

Think of the shit these people have to do all day, make coffee, flip burgers, fry chips, over and over again, one day doing that would piss me off. And then seeing people their own age come into the store spending money and on their ways to and from jobs with careers.

Fast food boy's nightmare : hot chick comes in, you both flirt with each other, then you both remember you're still wearing your Burger King T-Shirt...

Yeah but that's no reason to be rude and ignore customers. How does one expect to work beyond Burger King if they haven't even mastered the basics of customer service?
