Suggestions????
I don't cook shellfish or fish...so it's meat or poultry...
Chris can't eat too many veggies, but I can :) We like potatoes, rice, pasta, etc.
Looking for healthy but YUMMY stuff...

how about some kind of chicken pasta dish and then a nice mixed green salad on the side.
I love those salads with blue cheese, dried cranberries, walnuts, and green apples.

Occasionally I get a bug up my ass to cook, so heres a good suggestion. I made this and it kicks ass.
I'm always dying for fresh tomato in the winter and this holds me over.
Grab 2 pounds of Cherry tomatoes. Wash and cut each in half (this is kinda time consuming but who cares). Put them in a bowl. Pour on them, 1/4 C olive oil, 1.5 teas. sugar, 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper, 1/2 teas. salt, 1/4 teas red pepper flakes, 1 Table. balsamic vinegar. Also take 3-4 cloves of garlic, peel them and SLICE them into thins slices (minced is too strong). Mix it all together. Put it on a coockie sheet (with edges) in a single layer. Set oven to 350 and put these in there for around 30-40 minutes. Your roasting them, so they should sort of wrinkle but still hold their shape. Heat your water near the end of cooking time and throw in pasta when you take your tomatoes out. When done, drain pasta, put back in pot and toss in the tomatoes.
You will definetly get sex from this dish. Try to make him eat a veggie dish and maybe pick up a nice dessert. Sex will be yours! But women can pretty much get sex whenever they want so does it really matter.

Benwa--that sounds fantastic! Even healthier if you eat it with whole wheat pasta.

we just changed our plans and are putting off going out for dinner until the weekend. SO... that puts me in the kitchen. i TOTALLY don't mind because i love to cook, so yesterday i started to look for recipes. allrecipes.com has some valentine's day menu suggestions that look pretty good, so i thought i'd pass that along.

Okay! It's 1:30 on Sunday morning...we just finished dessert, since dinner was interrupted by a trip upstairs ;) ;) and then we slept for awhile...
So here's what we ate (and he loved everything!):
Multi-grain bread w/ butter
Capri salad--ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzerella, herbs, EVOO (extra virgin olive oil, for those not in the Rachael Ray language)
Pot roast with potatoes, carrots, celery, parsnips, herbs
Fresh green beans
Bread pudding made with blueberry muffins
Coffee
