long island?

hi everyone. i know there had been a thread back in may about forming a long island support group. i'm new to the boards, and was wondering if a group was started? if yes, can someone let me know the info, and if not, would anyone still be interested in getting a group together?

I'm also new to the boards and am looking for info on any long island island support groups or nyc groups...if none exist on long island i'd really rather not be the one to form it...i need to group to RAISE my self-esteem and help me to become a man who takes charge!!...if i already were that man then i wouldnt need the group...haha a joke...i try...anyway, let me know what you other long islanders (i know we're out there) think
