Hey guys I know you must be busy but I would love to hear from any of you who are living at home again....any war stories or suggestions?

Oh oh oh! Living at home is making me crazy! I (seriously) have to make my bed every day. Since I'm leaving for a 3 month trip to Asia in 4 weeks, I don't have the money to move out. Plus it wouldn't be all that sensible.

The only advice I can give is this: realize that you are a guest in their house. At any moment they can kick you out. That made me more polite and thoughtfull towards them- and made them surprised to see me so mature. Since I'm not paying rent or board, I try to help as much as possible around the house- dishes, laundry, cleaning the kitchen, cooking when I can. It just fosters a better relationship when I help out without being asked.

Thanks so much for the advice...I totally agree with you. By the way, you didn't happen to go to school in Boston did you? It's just that I knew a girl whose name is Anna and from Chicago. But that certainly could be many people! It's worth a try! Thanks again.
