I've ordered my French press and my burr grinder. They were an investment, but worth it. Do you guys have suggestions for brands of coffee?

Are there any Trader Joe's in Atlanta (I'm not sure if they are national or just West Coast)? I really like their dark roasts, especially Sumatra. Just picked up a bag today.
On a similar vein of unique grocery stores, anyone have any luck with the coffees at Whole Foods?

If you want to use decaf, like for haf-caf blends, I also recommend a German coffee called Tchibo. Its good tasting for decaf.
If you can get your hands on some, Swedish coffee is excellent.

There is a really really good brand here in Portland called Stumptown. They specialize in French Press coffee. The only way you can probably get it outside Oregon though is to order it online. You can do that at http://www.stumptowncoffee.com/

I think Tchibo is nasty personally.
The whole beans in the grocery store are actually pretty good. We have Millstone and some other one I can't remember now, and those are good. Also if you can find Seattle's Best, it is really good. As for cans, I like Alessi, Cafe Du Mond and the french roast Maxwell House. Gevalia is pretty good too. But I think that can get pretty pricey because it's mail order. Plus the commericals are lame.

Yeah, I wouldn't drink the regular Tchibo, but the decaf seems to work and taste alright.
