Remember when you were in 2nd grade and it seemed like there were these kinds of announcements all the time over the PA?

Well now I have a friend who's a 3rd grade teacher and this is a frequent announcement at his school. Inncidently, it's code for that the teachers are meeting up at the bar.

Beautiful....

I don't remember ever hearing that announcement. I guess the teachers at my school were lame.

one of my close friends is a preschool teacher. it is pretty funny to hear about the get togethers with her coworkers, in which they all get really stoned.

you never now about those crazy teachers.

That's hilarious! It would have really disturbed me back then though...you never want to think about your teacher drunk!! lol

The elementary school I work in is too lame to do this. But it would be funny to hear that on the announcements and know the kids had no idea

Doesn't anyone ever wonder when the choir will hold a performance?

Hah. My high school chemistry teacher didn't feel the need to wait until school was out to start his drinking for the day. Oddly enough, he only taught there for about a year.

Also, if all preschool teachers are as big of potheads as my former roommate/dedicated preschool teacher was, it gives a whole new insight to those stupid songs they're always singing with the kids. I'm sure it's all very profound.

you know, now that I think about it, there did you used to be an odd announcement like that every once in awhile. though i even remember walking past the teacher's loungs and humongous cloud of smoke would greet you (we're talking elementary school here).

There used to be a group of teachers where I work who would leave after school on some random weeknight, drive like hell to New York City (about 5 hours), party all night, and drive back in time for the next school day. Not sure if they showered or changed first. But even if they did ... they can't have looked too pretty :huge:
