It's time for us to meet!!! Soooo...one of the casinos in CT would be a good centrally located meeting place for everyone...give us your feedback:

Would you attend? If no, tell us why. If gambling is not your thing, there are OTHER things to do...and we can always all meet up there for dinner!

Pick day/time that would be best for you:
Friday night
Saturday afternoon
Saturday night
Sunday afternoon
Sunday night

Anything else you'd be interested in?

Thanks! :)

Woo hoo! That sounds fun!

Foxwoods maybe? Although I'm totally up for something in Boston, obviously. Sat. afternoon or Sat. night works best for me though I could do a Sunday.

I'm in... I think the casino idea is a good one- its sort of central for both the Boston and CT/NYC people... And I've never been to either of them, so it's high time for me to go I think :huge: Probably Saturday would be best (either afternoon or evening).

I'm always up for NYC too!

Honestly, as long as it's planned... any would do, though i think if we're looking for multiple states, Saturday/sunday is the easiest.

Well, obviously you know i LOVE the casino idea... and even there i'm an hour and a half away... I'd do a Boston trip, or NYC, I guess Atlantic City would be too far for some?? That's about a 3 1/2 hour trip for me.

I'd be up for NYC or one of the casinos (unless you all want to come up here to exciting Albany...;).) It sounds like a casino's the most popular idea right now - could we possibly do Mohegan Sun instead of Foxwoods? I haven't been there, but I really wasn't impressed with Foxwoods - too smoky. I could do any day with a little notice, but the easiest would be Saturday.

I think we should do an NYC trip AND a casino trip--that way, those who live on other side of NYC won't feel like the casino is too far for the day, and those who live in Upper New England won't feel like NYC is too far...know what I mean???

Personally I like Mohegan better b/c of the no smoking...but Foxwoods has bingo, haha.

Have car, will travel :green: . I would love to meet y'all. Saturday would probably be best. I like overnight trips, they are like mini-vacations for me. I would do the casino thing, rent a room and stay over. Maybe in April sometime? I've never been to the CT casinos. As I've mentioned gazillions of times, if y'all come to NYC, I'd totally meet up with you. Even if one of you are here randomly, if you PM'ed me in advance, I'd try to meet up. I am all about meeting new people and I feel like I know a lot of you already.........

I am good to go whenever for NYC, I think we just need an organizer (hint, hint). I may be up for the casino, it would be a trip for me I guess, so I would have to plan ahead. However, I LOVE bingo, so I couldn't really pass that up... when I go home to Boston my grandmother and I are down for bingo every weekend.

I don't mind coordinating a casino trip...if the Casino Queen doesn't mind helping me (hi, Coll). :)

I would try to attend anything in the NE as long as I can afford it.

haha Jen... I'd help coordinate no problem ;)... as long as it's not the third week in April... hell if people wanted to stay overnight and there was enough of us, I wonder if we could get a discount (just thinking out loud here)... and Mohegan at least i think is MUCH nicer than Foxwoods... though they are only a 1/2 hour away from each other...

I was just looking at the Mohegan Sun website...the weekend of April 2nd looks like nothing too crazy is going on then... :huge:

You all have to promise not to let me gamble too much! I'm terrible at it, but somehow always think that "this time, I'll win!" hehehe

I'm really pretty flexible as to the date... no big events planned... my weekends pretty much revolve around the deep and meaningful activities of running errands and going out to clubs... :googly: So exciting is my life...

What about the 9th or 16th...basically the only date that's a no-no for me in April is the 23rd... thoughts?

Anytime in April is good for me!

ETA: If we do May, not the first weekend--I think that's Mother's Day weekend? I have my cousin's first communion on that Saturday.

I think we might want to avoid the April 9th since it is the PBA Tournament of Champions being held there... that is, unless one of you is a secret bowling fanatic and thinks seeing that would be really great

Here is a link to their calendar of events...

The weekend of March 26 looks good from that perspective, but I don't recall if any of you had conflicts then?

I'm there all the time when there's other stuff going on; you'll see an increase of people, but the place is so huge I don't think it'd be an issue...and are bowlers big gamblers?? lol.

They just called it midnight bowling, it was cheap too... like $5 for 3 hours. At least until the ghettoed the place up- tried turning a freakin' bowling alley into a divey dance club :googly:.

LOL Jen- you could always come with us :huge: .
