So, I just got back from the Maroon 5 concert. Which was completely awesome, and it sucks that Kirk isn’t here cause he would so totally be getting some if he was here, but I digress.

As I was getting to the concert, who do I spy, but my stalker from work. Before I have a chance to hide, she spots me & completely latches on. Well, I’m making my way to the grassy area(it’s an outdoor venue) and I notice she has invited her “friends” to sit with “us”, which is weird cause I don’t remember inviting her to sit with me in the first place. These friends have GOT TO BE THE SKANKIEST people I have ever seen. Seriously, ` was about 500 pounds(which there is nothing wrong with) but she is wearing a top that did not cover her boobs, seriously the nipple actually fell out twice. Then there is this other girl that upon further questioning I find out is 14(WHAT DOES A 22 year old have in common with a 14 year old?). Anyway, these girls(stalker included) completely start making fun of the girls who brought their parents to the concert. I’m starting to boil at their rudeness. People are staring for god’s sake.

So, before Maroon 5’s performance they play all these different videos, some from people I’ve never heard of, and some from mainstream artists. Well, the “Oregon” video, with Jack Black(White Stripes) and Loretta Lynn comes on. One of these girls says “I don’t get this video, why is he singing with that old woman” the other girl goes “Well, he thinks she’s a legend or something” Oh my god, I explode. “Listen skank girls, Miss Loretta Lynn has more talent and grace than y’all could ever EXPECT to have, now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get away from your trashiness” Do you know, a family actually clapped when I walked away?!

PS-if you have the chance to see Maroon 5, go. The band exudes sexuality and it was awesome.

So does this mean you had a good time?

A coworker also said she enjoyed that concert when they were over here.

Once the skank incident had passed, I had an awesome time.

The lead singer,Adam, is so hot, not that you care And1, but just wanted to throw that out to the ladies. He was funny cause he was like "Do y'all wanna hear some new stuff? Nah, y'all are probably like, just play "She will be loved" and "Is anyone out there", motherfucker, and let us go home" I enjoy anyone who can make fun of themselves.

There new stuff was pretty good.

Good for you paige... too many people just suffer other people's intolerant attitudes out of fear of being rude.

Aww man, Paiger, I am jealous. I love Maroon 5! I think I have a thing for Adam Levine. He has the prettiest singing voice.

Maybe now you guys can be BFF!!!

I love M5 - they're coming to concert here, and my radio station is offering a "lounge" earlier in the day - I wanna go!

Wow. I just read your original story about this girl. She seems desperate. I hate people like that that throw themselves at others all the time and can't take a hint. This annoys me to no end, especially when I see females do it to guys.

Deadend- I was raised on "classic" country. :huge: Plus, I love the fact that Loretta Lynn personality. Back in her younger years, a woman in the audience said she was sleeping with Lortetta's man. Loretta literally RAN ACROSS TABLES to get to the woman, saying she was gonna kick her ass! How can you not love that?

I get annoyed anytime someone doesn't recognize talent just because they don't know the genre. People should have more respect these days

Go Paige! I probably would have sat there and suffered wishing that I could do something like you did. hmm....maybe I'll suck it up and do it next time. I would rather enjoy something that be miserable because of the people I am with.

I would have paid money to see THAT! You kick so much ass!

Jeez, even I recognize Loretta Lynn, and I'm from the anti-country music capital of the world!

She was gonna take her down to Fist City, huh? ;)
Loretta Lynn is awesome. Those skanks just showcased their stupidity and immaturity for all the world to see. Jack White totally picked the right woman for that. I read somewhere that he only let her do one take of the song because he had such deep respect for her that he knew she'd be perfect the first time.
