If you get springtime allergies like I do, just a bit of info here. I started taking Kyodophilus (an acidophilus supplement) a couple of years ago for stomach issues... and an odd side effect that developed over time was that I noticed my sinuses gradually became much clearer. I can't chalk that up to a placebo effect because I had never heard of lacto-bacteria doing that, and well besides it would take more than a placebo to improve my allergies, heh. Anyway not that they're totally gone, but they aren't nearly as intense. and of course it helps with digestion too.

oh and btw I hope this board isn't doomed to become closed to males. also - as a nursing student I feel compelled to comment - if you're in doubt about a medical condition, don't just rely on a message board. Contact a qualified health professional. (That's all.)

I use a combination of Xertec and Nasacort. Works OK. Makes you a little drowsy.
