The screen on my cell phone broke today (long story..i'm having a horrible Monday). Does anyone know if I have to replace the entire phone or what?
Just when I start to try to save money, this happens..

If you can live with it, buy insurance on your plan, and next month, or whenever the waiting period is till, call it in and say it just happened. If you can't use it, you're pretty much beat unfortunately.
I would call up customer service and start crying or something and tell them you love the service and blah blah blah... don't laugh, it worked for me, I got a bunch of breaks when I was with Sprint.

I have cingular (well, I used to have AT&T).
hmm..i'll look into the insurance thing.

Cool, I just bought the insurance. I can wait a month if it means not having to spend 500 on a new phone.

Well, so far it has worked and saved me a big chunk of change..
We'll have to wait a few weeks through to see what happens when I report the phone suddenly damaged.
