Does this even fit in with health? Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I have always had dark under-eye circles. Nothing a little under-eye make-up can't hide (for the most part), but it really bothers me that they never go away. I have tried different sleep patterns: 6 hours, 7 hours, 8 hours, and it doesn't matter if I get plenty of rest or little rest, the dark circles are always there. I've also tried the cucumber thing, and some cream my roommate suggested, but niether has worked. My fear is that this problem will worsen as I get older.

Does anyone have any advice on how to make these circles disappear??

I can relate - I've had dark under eye circles since birth. It's hereditary, and as far as I know, there is nothing you can do about it. Even the skin under my eyes isn't like the skin on the rest of my face, it's really thin and discolored.

I always use a concealer that's lighter than the rest of my skin, and dab shiny white illuminator in the corner of my eyes (next to my nose.) Supposedly it helps you to look more awake.

I have that problem too, but it seems to have started in the past few years. What do you use for it?
I use concealer there but I still get comments from people about how I look really tired. I changed to another brand.

Oh, I completely relate! This is one of the few things I'm mad at my mother for handing down to me ;). I have to use concealer--all the time--it absolutely sucks. I use Merle Norman eye shadow base. It's white, and I put it all around my eyes and then put my normal makeup on top of it. It's about $12 for a tiny compact, but it lasts a long time. I also sometimes use cheap coverup, but it doesn't work as well. I'm looking forward to summer when I'll have some sun on my face and it should all even out a little!
