Random bruises??
Does anyone else just get random bruises on their legs? I CONSTANTLY have bruises on my legs and I know I didn't bump into anything. I think it's from running and other cardio, but I'm wondering if I should be concerned that they're always there.
thoughts?

I bruise if you breathe on me wrong.
It's connected to the anemia, and the fact that I have translucently pale skin doesn't do much to hide it.

I bruise fairly often and easily, so I am generally unconcerned. (I also have a tendency to bump into things, and I usually forget about it until I find a new bruise.)
If you are worried about it, you might want to go see a doctor. Have you always gotten random bruises, or is it a recent thing?

I bruise like a peach. I'm also bumping into things all the time. I've also found that if I have an itch and I scratch it through clothes, that I'll bruise as well. That's usually how I get about 90% of my bruises.

I bruise up easily and it's visable on my medium-toned skin.
I ended up with a bruise on my right arm when I was in Vegas a couple weekends ago and I don't remember how I got it. But that's Vegas for ya. LOL
I'll usually end up with random insect bites on my arms, legs, and face. I don't have any insects flying around me though (it's too hot here!). And I have no idea exactly how I get them.
You might just easily bruise like wordsmith does. Do the bruises actually hurt or is it just a visable one, but doesn't hurt?

Yeah, if you exercise a lot (and especially if you lift weights) you can bruise easily...it's tiny tears in the blood vessels or something.
It could also be because you're taking a lot of asprin or blood-thinning medication.

You are not alone, for as long as I can remember I have been getting bruises on mylegs (sometimes arms for no reason). I do not know why I get these things...or how for that matter. When I was in h.s. I had my p.e. teacher shoe concern because for about a week or so I had a massive bruise on my leg. And let me tell you, I woudln't work out.
Perhaps we should go to the doctor and find out what it is! I have sensitive skin, but many times I do not bump into anything...
I just wanted to let you know you are not the only one with the problem...

I've always bruised easily on my legs, and I haven't always been active. I just bump into things. I also know that I'm not anemic (I got tested recently for that) and I don't take any medication. Being that I have light skin, they're more visible, so I end up wearing slacks instead of skirts.

Well, I used to bruise so easily...But it stopped. I think it stopped right after I broke up with my stay in boyfriend... No, really. I used to be a "tosser and turner" in bed and I think that's why.
But after we broke up, I am a far more relaxed sleeper. It might happen in your sleep, you know?
