How to go about applying to this?

So I saw a job posting for the place I used to work (slightly different position) and am considering applying. I'm kind of looking for work right now...kind of not (long story and I have a feeling there will be a future post about it ). Anyway, if the job was good and was offered I would probably take it. I have a feeling it may not pay what I'd be looking for but I think it doesn't hurt to check it out.

They say in the job posting, contact ..... and then give the address and an e-mail address. They also say 'No phone calls please'.

What do you think would be the best way to apply? The manager who is doing the hiring is someone different from the manager when I was there. Is it best to drop it off or e-mail? I'm wondering if dropping it off would be bad since they say no phone calls, but then since I did work there maybe it's not a bad idea?...

If you worked there before and some people there might recognize you, then dropping it off in person is definitely the better choice.

Since you know them personally, you can always call and speak to your manager. I am sure they rather have someone they know already and ask how much will the position pay.
