Rats leaving the sinking ship....

So I've b#$^@# about my boss before on here. They guy stinks at everything, from people skills to a management skills. The only thing he's good at is computers, which shouldn't be the focus of managing one of the main departments at the college!
Anyway, we've got a "rats leaving the ship" thing going on in the office. I started in Feb., and two other guys started around the same time at me. One of them is transferring to a new job in a different office next month. The other guy is looking elsewhere, too. I'm one of 2 international student advisors, and the other one is pregnant. Two other advisors are retiring next year.
A friend of mine says that this mean smy boss now has to keep the rest of us happy so that he doesn't have to replace more advisors, but somehow, I just don't think that he'll even get it. I know how the other guys feel - if I didn't have the international component, I'd be looking too. But now he'll probably ask us to work longer hours and take on more projects. Aaauuuurrrrgggg!!!

Would he be paying you extra for the extra time and projects?

And, does the office conduct exit interviews? It might be a good idea.

He definately wouldn't be paying us more for more work.
I doubt that they do exit interviews. For starters, we never even got responses on our annual reviews (but we get raises nonetheless). That and my boss is ready to retire, so I doubt he even cares. He's ticked about losing peoplem since that means more work, but I don't think he really cares about employee retention.

That's a funny, in a very sad way, sentence...

Ok, so:

Your boss is an asshole, your office is such a shitty place to work that nobody's sticking around, you're supposed to do more work for the same amount of money, and your boss doesn't really give a shit about making the place better?

Leave. Leave tomorrow.

Seriously, it will only get worse.

Signed,
Been there, and now revisiting it with my lawyer.
