Generic Thread, Part Two

I miss the Generic Thread. It was great to have a place to just post random stuff that didn't fit elsewhere.

Seeing as how the original GT went well over 100 pages of posts (and therefore very unwieldy), I decided to start a new one.

Just post a random thought here. Tell us that you like your office (or your coworker). Tell us that you're hungry and you're ready for lunch. Tell a joke. Or a limerick. Or an anecdote. Or maybe you're like me, and you just need to let a thought out without starting a new thread.

Enjoy!

Paul

Good call. Can one of the mods please change that? Thanks!

Currently, I'm rewriting instructions on how to wash some new hair products my company is going to carry. It's hard to write flowing odes on something like this.

Cheap Chinese-made fake hair product, how do I love thee?
Let me count the ways

My boss is out of the office again today. It always makes me want to slack off, but I'm supposed to report into him at noon and before I leave today, so I must work.

I'm so sick of working on this website, I just want to be like, who cares if the table is 2 pixels off, nobody will really notice but us.

I started working on a project that I had been putting off for weeks last night around 10ish. I didn't go to sleep at all (maybe a 10 minute catnap in the morning) last night. I'm still working on it but I am almost done. My procrasination knows no boundaries.

This girl I've just started dating is probably one of the coolest girls I've ever met. It's literally scary how well things are going.

I'm really cold right now. My fingers are purple....I should mention that I haven't been outside recently either. I'm just.that.cold.

It's really cold here.

I've had it with National Service after nearly two years.

I'm ready to get a real job with a real salary and real benefits. I'm scared what will happen when I stop exploring. I'm afraid to make a commitment.

I know this isn't the whining thread, but it's what's on my mind.

It's 90 and I am seriously ready to go to bed. I am so old.

Also, my husband just turned OFF the tv and is reading a book. For fun. I read ALL THE TIME, but he usually only reads for pleasure when we are traveling. This is just bizarre, but in a good way. Maybe my habits have rubbed off on him!

Yesterday I saw the new M&M's commercial and I literally laughed out loud. In fact, I'm still laughing about it.

"If you're an M&M, remember that some of you have peanuts inside."

The M&M gets attacked by a mob of squirrels. Hilarious!

I'm trying to think happy thoughts. Today is a rainy day. Eddie Rabbitt may have loved a rainy night, but I love a rainy day.

My landlady is watching the baseball game in the living room and she's screaming and yelling. I guess she's excited cause the Cardinals are winning. Or maybe she's having a spontaneous orgasm in front of the TV, I don't know.
